Iron Horses Announce 2025 Head Coach!!!
Its with great Excitement that the Iron Horses Announce Coach Doug Flowers!!!!!
Coach Flowers brings extensive baseball experience to the Iron Horses. Flowers had a standout collegiate career at North Carolina Wesleyan. During his time there, Flowers was a two-time All-American, helping the Battling Bishops to two College World Series appearances, including winning the 1989 National Championship.
Following his time at NC Wesleyan, Flowers was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1990 MLB Draft. He would play professionally for three years. Since the completion of his playing career, Flowers has coached all throughout amateur baseball.
