Collegiate Summer Baseball

Welcome to the Joanna Hornets! With a proud history of textile mill baseball dating back to 1915, we have long represented the Joanna community and surrounding counties until the 1960s.

This summer, we are excited to return to the field as a collegiate summer league team in the Southern Shores Baseball League (Formerly SEBL), offering affordable baseball opportunities for local and regional players competing at the collegiate level.

Our iconic Joanna Stadium, built in the 1920s, is currently undergoing renovations and will become our home field once again in 2026. We will play the 2025 season at nearby Newberry High School.
