The Blue Ridge League: 

The Blue Ridge League represents the coming together of several top summer collegiate programs with proud histories and ambitious futures across the talent-rich regions of the Carolinas, Virginia, and West Virginia. Recognized as a premier league, we feature some of the finest facilities in summer collegiate baseball. Our Teams are supported by some of the most passionate fanbases anywhere in the country. Deeply rooted in their communities, our organizations are embraced in return, creating an electric atmosphere where fans and players alike can feel the excitement all summer long.

 

​Who's Eligible:

Our league is focused on players from our surrounding communities who appear on a current NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and NJCAA rosters and have exhausted American Legion baseball eligibility (if applicable). ​​Host Families and Housing are available to players by request.

Joanna Hornets

Historic Joanna Stadium - is currently undergoing renovations, originally built in 1920 as a wooden structure its existing concrete grandstands were added in 1950 and have a capacity of 1300 fans. Our large 14' x 48' newly constructed dugouts, Tifway 419 playing surface, and professional grade infield will be new additions in our phase 1 construction. Ballpark dimensions are 325' (LF), 385' (CF), 325' (LF). If our renovations are not completed by season start we will play in nearby Newberry, SC.

 

 

Carolina Disco Turkeys

 

Couch Ballpark - is the home baseball stadium for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons baseball at Winston‑Salem. Originally opened in 1956 as Ernie Shore Field and later acquired by Wake Forest University in 2009, the ballpark seats roughly 3,800 fans and has undergone extensive renovations to modernize the facility. The stadium features a quality playing surface, updated seating areas, and a player development center named after alumnus David F. Couch. It has a rich history of baseball, having hosted minor league teams for decades before becoming a lively collegiate baseball venue and occasionally hosting summer wood-bat league games

 

 

Marion Hungry Mothers

Hurricanes Stadium - is a historic baseball venue on the Marion Senior High School campus that originally opened in the 1950s and hosted minor league teams including the Marion Mets. Today it serves as the home field for the Marion Hungry Mothers, a collegiate wood-bat summer baseball team, and also hosts high school baseball and local community events.

 

 

Queen City Corndogs

Stick Williams Dream Fields  - Stick Williams Dream Fields is a modern multi-field baseball and youth development facility. It features two full-size collegiate grass fields and a youth baseball field, and serves as the home for Queens University of Charlotte baseball and other local baseball events. The complex was developed by the Knothole Foundation on a former Optimist Club site to support community baseball and youth programs, and includes amenities like batting cages and warm-up areas.

 

 

 

Unwharrie Wampus Cats

Don Montgomery Park  -  is a public park and baseball facility in Albemarle, NC centered around a full-size lighted baseball field used for local amateur baseball, including high school, Dixie Youth, Babe Ruth, and American Legion games. The park also includes youth and unlit fields, a playground, picnic shelter, and access to the community greenway, making it a hub for youth sports and outdoor recreation.

 

 

Davey Crocketts

Mando Field at Rich Park (Mocksville, NC) - is a community baseball field located in Mocksville, North Carolina within Rich Park. It’s named for local leader D.J. “Nick” Mando, who helped improve the park, and serves as a home venue for American Legion teams, collegiate games (including Carolina University Bruins baseball), and other organized baseball events.

 

 

Greenwood Baseball Club

Greenwood Legion Field  - is a historic baseball stadium that has served the community for decades. It previously hosted minor league teams including the Greenwood Braves, Greenwood Pirates, and the Greenwood Grizzlies. With a capacity of around 3,500 and classic dimensions (approximately 335 feet down the lines and 400+ to center), Legion Field remains an important venue for local and American Legion baseball.

 

 

Spartanburg County Baseball Club

Inman Mills Baseball Park (Jim Everhart Field)  - Inman Mills Baseball Park, officially known as Jim Everhart Field. Tucked away in the historic mill village, the park feels like a step back in time with its traditional covered grandstands that provide a nostalgic backdrop for youth baseball and American Legion games.  It’s the kind of place where the echo of a wooden bat still feels right at home, preserving the spirit of the old textile leagues for a new generation of players.
